Skills & Qualifications:
Trek is currently seeking an intermediate environmental technician to join their team. This is a full time position, requiring both office and field work.
Intermediate Technicians are responsible for preparing cost estimates, preparing field notes, liaison with analytical laboratories, soil & groundwater sampling, monitoring, report preparation and other duties as required.
A degree or diploma in environmental science, agriculture, engineering or geology is required; with a minimum of 3 years experience in the oilfield industry.
Other requirements include:
Technical report writing
Strong organizational skills
Strong understanding of the regulatory
requirements in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba & B.C.
Strong computer and data management skills (MS Word/Excel/Outlook), Mapping Software, Corel, and Database i.e.: Filemaker pro would be an asset.
